Arzen Group SpA ("we", "our", "ALNX") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Chilean law (Law 19.628 on Protection of Private Life and Law 21.719 on Personal Data Protection) and international regulations (GDPR, where applicable).

2. Data We Collect

2.1 CLI Usage (Local)

When using ALNX CLI locally with a self-hosted or third-party AI provider, we collect no data. All processing happens on your machine. Queries are sent directly from your device to your configured AI provider.

2.2 ALNX Cloud Service

If you use ALNX Cloud (our managed AI endpoint), we may process:

• Your queries (message content) — processed transiently, not stored after response delivery
• Metadata: timestamp, response latency, token count (for billing)
• Account information: email, authentication tokens

2.3 Website

Our website may use analytics cookies (with consent). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent — For analytics and optional telemetry
• Contract performance — To provide the ALNX Cloud service
• Legitimate interest — To improve service quality and prevent abuse

4. Data Protection Measures

• Queries to ALNX Cloud are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Secret redaction: API keys, passwords, and tokens are stripped before processing
• Local credentials are stored with file permissions 600 (owner-only)
• No query content is stored permanently on our servers
• Billing metadata is retained for the legally required period (Chilean tax law: 6 years)

5. Your Rights

Under Chilean Law 21.719 and GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time

6. International Transfers

If you use third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google, etc.), your queries are sent directly to those providers under their respective privacy policies. ALNX does not intermediate or store this data. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of your chosen AI provider.

7. Data Retention

• Query content: not retained (processed transiently)
• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Billing records: 6 years (Chilean tax obligation)
• Logs: 90 days maximum, then deleted

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of ALNX after changes constitutes acceptance.
