ALNX (Assistant Linux Inline) is a terminal assistant designed for system administrators, DevOps engineers, and developers who work daily with Linux, PowerShell, and server infrastructure. It provides AI-powered command suggestions, risk classification, file analysis, and inline code generation — all from the terminal.

Mission

To augment — not replace — the terminal experience. ALNX helps administrators work faster and safer by providing contextual, risk-aware suggestions. We believe the operator should always remain in control.

Security principles

• ALNX never executes commands automatically
• All suggestions are classified by risk level
• Secrets are redacted before being sent to any AI provider
• Credentials are stored locally with restricted permissions
• No telemetry is collected without explicit consent

Open source

The core CLI is open source under the MIT License. Enterprise features and managed cloud services are provided under separate commercial terms.
